Home Buying Process
The buying process starts with you and your needs. Whether it’s a first home, larger home, empty nester home, or investment home, we’ve got you covered. But the first step is thinking about and writing down what you need and want. Once you have figured out what you want, we would like to meet up with you, buy you a coffee, and set up a search specifically designed for your needs and wants. After setting up a search then we can start looking at some homes.
Getting Pre-approved
One other thing you will need to do is get pre-approved for a loan to see what price range to be searching in. A good lender is a big piece of your home buying process. It is important to have a lender who is quick and a problem-solver. A good lender should be able to get you a low percentage rate and close on a home in 25 days or less with a conventional loan. Finding the best loan for you is also important. Sometimes an VA loan (for veterans) or FHA loan may have better interest rates for you depending on your finances.
Setting Up Home Search
The home you want to find is going to be very specific and tailored around you. First you will want to set up your search on an app of your choice so that we can share properties back and forth through text that you are interested in. While these apps are convenient we also like to set up a real-time MLS portal for you to make sure you are seeing everything. Some homes are not listed on apps.
